Eco-Cycle in Boulder, CO developed a diagram that begins to show some of these linkages as it relates to Zero Waste.  You can see a version of it at: http://www.zerowasteoakland.com/AssetFactory.aspx?did=1889

That could be the basis for how P2 relates to the world.
