For those of you who were involved or followed the CFC
Phase-out and the solvent substitution issues and solutions, you may remember
the annual International Workshop on Solvent Substitution that was held in Arizona. To broaden
the focus on cleaner production, it was renamed The Cleaner Sustainable Industrial
Materials and Process (CSIMP) Workshop. It still covers solvent substitution
but includes other material/chemical substitution issues as well. For
those interested, the next workshop is going to be held in Monterey CA
