Pollution Prevention (Clean Technology) Specialists, The Pollution Prevention Institute at Rochester Institute of Technology

Rochester Institute of Technology’s (RIT) Pollution Prevention Institute (P2I) has undertaken a multi-year effort to expand and introduce new technological innovations to New York State’s Pollution Prevention Program. The P2I is a part of RIT’s newly created Sustainability Institute, which is affiliated with the Center for Integrated Manufacturing Studies.

RIT is recruiting two individuals to be full time pollution prevention professionals in this program. We seek individuals

· with industrial experience (either directly in their career or from other P2 programs,

· interest in developing new R&D approaches and new technology for pollution prevention, and

· skills in responding to New York State stakeholders’ needs in pollution prevention.

One individual should be familiar with green engineering and green chemistry. Degrees in engineering or science fields are preferred and we seek at least one PhD candidate.
