Full-time technical position available in Glendale, CA

The Institute for Research and Technical Assistance (IRTA), a non profit organization in Glendale, CA, is seeking an energetic, technically-curious individual for work that involves testing safer alternatives in a variety of industries. The position is full-time, offers excellent medical and dental benefits, and is based in Glendale, CA. Candidates must posses a technical degree in science, or engineering, and more than five years experience.

Although knowledge and experience working on industrial processes is essential, a candidate with a high desire to learn about various industrial processes (with the requisite education) will be considered. The position also involves some outreach to industry, small business and government agencies. The candidate should be familiar with cross-media regulations as well as having the ability to communicate effectively both in written and verbal form. Proficiency with computers is also necessary.
