Description:
PPRC
and WRPPN would like to invite you to the "Spray Paint
Efficiency" webinar. This webinar will provide P2 Technical Assistance
Providers with an opportunity to learn how to identify opportunities to
improve the overall efficiency of manual spray coating operations by
enhancing the techniques of painters. The information
presented in this webinar draws on the fundamental techniques that are
offered in the Spray Technique Analysis and Research (STAR®)
training developed by the Iowa Waste Reduction Center.
The webinar will discuss the following topics for achieving maximum
efficiency:
· proper spray
gun maintenance, use and adjustments
· proper spray
gun position
· spray overlap
and edge painting techniques
The next time you visit a collision repair shop or facility that spray
paints their products, you will be able to identify techniques that
promote coating inconsistency and increase waste and offer qualified
advice for improvement. Ken Grimm is a certified STAR
trainer and has over 20 years combined industrial and automotive
painting experience.
Bonus webinar content: This webinar will also provide
an overview of the new EPA Surface Coating NESHAP, highlighting the
elements that are met by STAR training, and providing information on
accessing materials that will help shops understand and comply with the
new regulations.
