Failures

    We are preparing analyses of the proposed mergers of
Waste Management and Republic, and of Republic and Allied.
 
    As part of that analysis, we are looking for any
landfills owned by either WM or Republic that present significant risks
to the environment, especially ones involved in corrective actions for
site failures.  
 
    Could you pass around this request to your several
listserves and ask folks to get back directly to me with any
information.
