Green Business Programs
(“GBPs”) are being successfully implemented by local
jurisdictions in California
and other states. By certifying and promoting businesses that operate
in an environmentally responsible way, GBPs conserve resources, prevent
pollution and help consumers shop consistently with their values.
The last decade has seen tremendous growth (and enthusiasm) for GBPs.
Several jurisdictions are in the process of establishing their own GBP,
while others are expressing interest and are considering developing one
too.
This webinar is specifically designed to provide an introduction to
jurisdictions that are interested in launching GBPs and, in addition, will serve
as a great refresher for upcoming GBPs as well.
