Position open February 6-25, 2009, or until filled.

The Board of Directors of Green Star, an Anchorage, Alaska-based green
business certification program, seeks a full-time executive director.
Green Star is a 501(c)(3) charitable nonprofit organization with a
$500,000 budget and a staff of three. 

Green Star provides pollution prevention technical assistance and a
popular Green Star Certification program to area businesses, industries,
agencies, schools and other organizations.  Primary programs include
on-site assistance to businesses focused on waste prevention, energy
efficiency, recycling, environmentally preferable purchasing and process
management strategies; the Green Star certification for those that meet
the ten Green Star Standards; a Green Events program; and a Lighting
Energy Efficiency Pledge program (LEEP).
