Recording Block

I'm wondering if anyone out there has a recording block that we could borrow
for a few weeks to do some CTD work on Lake Erie?  What we're looking for is
something similar to a snatch block pulley with a mechanical counter on it
(meters or feet) that will handle 3/16 wire.
