SG-W:/ WPLT Annual Membership Dinner

The Washtenaw-Potawatomi Land Trust will hold its sixth annual membership 
dinner on Thursday, Oct. 14.  This year's keynote speaker is Frank Kelley, 
former Michigan Attorney General.  The evening also features the "Grown in 
Washtenaw" Harvest Feast, with most of the food served coming from local 
farms; music by the Irish folk band Nutshell; presentation of the Land 
Preservationist of the Year award; and a silent auction that includes UM 
men's basketball tickets (first row!), jewelry, golf and many other items.  
All proceeds go to support the land trust's land preservation and land use 
education programs.  Cost for tickets is $45/person ($20 deductible) and 
$80/couple ($30 deductible).  Cash bar begins at 6:00 p.m., dinner at 7:00
