Earth Day Work Party at LeFurge Woods
hosted by Southeast Michigan Land Conservancy

Saturday, April 22, 2000, 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Bring work gloves and preferably boots to help clean up around the wetland.
(If you have boots to wade into up to a foot of water--that's even better,
but not required). There is also small debris to remove, so heavy duty trash
bags would be helpful. This is a good project for scout or school groups.
Meet at the wetland entrance--on the east side of Prospect Road
3/4 mile north of Geddes Road (2 1/4 miles south of Ford Road) in Superior
Make this 30th Anniversary of Earth Day meaningful. Come out and lend a
hand while frogs and toads serenade you. Hawks, ducks and geese are
practically guaranteed. Trumpeter swans will be optional.
