Everyone- Jeff marine and I are both running for office in Pittsfield. You 
should too! Be ready for a fight: in 96, devlopers funded the pro-devlopment 
crew (Woolley, Skrobola, Shelton and Aldrich), so we only got three people 
on the board - a frustrating minority, especially when one (Judy Bocklage) 
defected to the other side. Every vote is lost, 5 to 2. Also, we are 
Democrats, and the townships tend to run Republican which means pro 
"property rights" (read: property rights of business and developers only). 
Laissez-faire is fine until you run into the full-tilt rapacious greed of 
current developers. Tina
