I received the following email from a subscriber who has a concern about
lack of notice for event announcement on smartgrowth-washtenaw.  This is a
valid concern for those who don't access their computers over the weekends,
or who only access their email accounts irregularly.  Please try to give as
much notice as possible for upcoming events.

hello, i'm a relatively new member to this group.  i
truly appreciate all the notices and announcements
that people are sending to the group.  i only have one
issue with these announcements -- they usually seem to
be sent only one or two days before the event is
supposed to take place (the democrat event on saturday
which was sent to the group on friday, the spring has
sprung event on sunday which was sent to the group on
friday, this mayoral candidate announcement for
sunday, sent on saturday).  i don't work at my
computer, so therefore i don't get to check my email
very frequently.  i would have loved to have attended
any one, or all threee, of these events, but i was not
able to check my email until monday.  please send out
your announcements earlier, because i would really
like  to get to some of the events that you all are
mentioning.
