A reminder to folks that the Washtenaw-Potawatomi Land Trust is hosting a
work day at its Creekshead Nature Preserve this Saturday, May 13 starting at
10:00 a.m. We will be formally establishing trails on the property by
clearing pathways and transplanting wildflowers. There are spectacular
Spring blooms on the property. Please bring work gloves and hand tools
(loppers, saws, clippers), your own water and bug repellent, preferably
non-toxic. Cold drinks and treats will be provided for trail blazers.
The preserve is located on the west side of Curtis Rd. between Brookville Rd.
and Five Mile Rd. in Salem Township, just a short distance north of N.
Territorial Rd. Park along Curtis but please be careful as it is a busy road.
Feel free to post to other groups--all are invited! Contact me if you have
questions.
