Dave:  Congrads on your decision to run for township supervisor.  I commend 
you wholeheartedly for taking the step.  You may have seen my previous posts 
saying that Carol Peacock won the same seat in Bridgewater Township running 
as you are, as an independent; I'm sure she'd be willing to spend a few 
minutes with you sharing experiences and providing some insights.

You are right on target with your assessment of techniques to save land.  I 
am here to provide info on those I have a fair understanding (PDR, TDR, 
parkland acquisition, donations of easements and land) and the justification 
for employing them at no cost or obligation, to the extent I can while still 
actively pursuing land protection projects through the land trust.  Buzz me 
an email and we can talk more.

Perhaps there should be a meeting scheduled of those who make the commitment 
to run for office once the July deadline has passed so that we can compare 
notes and have some similar talking points.  Jeff Surfas, is this something 
you can organize?
