Redevelopment options are limited. More and more difficult sites are coming under selection for development. Wetlands identification, permitting, management and mitigation to develop these difficult sites are becoming more challenging and expensive. The above noted speakers will present their experiences in dealing with such sites, including wetland permitting, mitigation, and ecological preservation, both in Michigan and around the U.S. In addition, Ms. Vanderlaan will present MDEQ's general wetland policies and procedures. After the talk, all three speakers will address any questions. This seminar should be of interest to the experienced and "new" environmental professional that deals with developmental and wetland issues.
