The Southeast Michigan Land Conservancy is hosting two events in July. All
are welcome to attend--bring some friends, too!

Saturday, July 7, 2001 at 8 p.m. LeFurge Woods Full Moon Campfire. Bring
lawn chairs and campfire refreshments to enjoy the summer's eve. Firewood is
welcome. Free camping is optional.
LeFurge Woods is a 261-acre nature preserve in Superior Township at the
northeast corner of Prospect and Geddes Roads. Use the entrance on Prospect
Road which is 1/2 mile north of Geddes (2 1/2 miles south of Ford Road).
Follow the driveway back to the campsite area.

Saturday, July 21st at 9 a.m.: Purple Loosestrife Work Party. Help us to
remove the invasive purple loosestrife from the wetland area at LeFurge
Woods. Work gloves and boots are recommended.
Meet at the wetland entrance to LeFurge Woods, which is on Prospect Road 3/4
mile north of Geddes Road.

Please email me if you have any questions or need better directions. Thanks.
