Water resources managers are continually faced with challenges
concerning
nuisance aquatic species, water quality issues, and keeping current with
the
newest technologies being developed to address these concerns. In its
third
year, this joint meeting of the Michigan Chapter, North American Lake
Management Society (NALMS), Michigan State Section American Water
Resources
Association (AWRA), and Michigan State University will provide audience
participants with new research information, technologies and techniques
for
addressing some of these issues.

The keynote luncheon address will be the Honorable John Feikens of the
U.S.
District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan speaking on
"Community
Cooperation at the Watershed Level."

Registration includes attendance, all coffee breaks, and lunch. Advanced
registration is $45 and $20 for students. Registration received after
March
1 is $55 and $30 for students (lunch may be unavailable for late
registrants
and walk-ins).
