The Southeast Michigan Land Conservancy will be hosting a Butterfly & Insect
Tour this Sunday, July 28, at 1:30 p.m. at the Koppernick Road entrance of
Holliday Preserve in the City of Westland. Come and explore the site of the
Conservancy's first land acquisition--a 40 acre parcel which was added to
Wayne County's William P. Holliday Forest & Wildlife Preserve (which now
totals 540 acres).

Directions: From I-275 and Ford Road, head east just over one mile to Hix
Road (traffic light). Turn left (north) on Hix Road, pass Warren Road, and
travel a total of 1.5 miles to Koppernick Road. Turn left (west) on
Koppernick. Go 1/2 mile west and then the road turns south; go another 1/4
mile to the entrance of the preserve. For a map or other directions, go to
www.mapquest.com and use the address 39401 Koppernick Road, Canton MI 48187
(the entrance is right on the border of Canton and Westland).

Hope to see you there!
