SG-W:/ Granholm Names Land Use Commission



Congratulations to three Ann Arbor leaders who will help guide Governor Granholm’s new Land Use Commission!    State Senator Liz Brater, State Representative Chris Kolb and former State Senator and Michigan Enviromental Council President Lana Pollack will work with the 26-member panel over the summer to study and identify trends, causes, and consequences of urban sprawl.  Having such a solid block on the commission is recognition for the great work our community has done in pushing land use to the top of the political agenda.  Members of the commission are pasted below.
