Here's a quick reminder about the John Podesta speech. I hope to see you there!
John Podesta will deliver "If Not Now, When? Energy, the Environment, and Ethics in the 21st Century," the 2003 Milton Alexander Memorial Lecture, Friday, June 13, 7:30 p.m., at Temple Beth El, on the northwest corner of Telegraph and 14 Mile Road in Bloomfield Hills. This speech will explore the security and environmental implications of our energy policy. Many speculate about these matters; few can match John Podesta's unique insights from his years of public service, including over two years as President Bill Clinton's Chief of Staff.
Mr. Podesta is also scheduled to appear on the Mitch Albom Show on WJR,
760 AM, Friday, June 13 between 4:00 and 4:30 p.m.
The event is free and open to the public, regardless of religious affiliation. Please feel free to bring friends along with you or forward this message to others who might be interested.
The 2003 Milton M. Alexander Memorial Lecture is co-sponsored by Temple
Beth El through the Milton M. Alexander Memorial Lecture Fund and by the
Michigan Coalition on the Environment and Jewish Life (MI-COEJL) through a
grant from the Max M. Fisher Jewish Community Foundation.
