From today's Ann Arbor News:
"The Southeast Michigan Land Conservancy has acquired another 143 acres in Superior Township, this time with a farmstead the conservancy would like to make its headquarters.
Conservancy members are viewing the purchase as a milestone. If they can purchase one more, 20-acre parcel, they will have a continuous connection of protected land from Geddes Road north to Cherry Hill Road. The purchase would complete a significant link in what the conservancy members hope will be a much grander plan for a six-mile greenway "necklace" through the township, connecting the conservancy's land to other preserves and township and county parks."
