Public Workshop to be held for the City of Ann Arbor’s Comprehensive Non-motorized
Transportation Plan, focusing on the Northeast Planning Area
The City of Ann Arbor Planning
and Public Services Departments will host a public workshop for the City of Ann Arbor’s
Comprehensive Non-motorized Transportation Plan. This meeting will focus
on non-motorized issues in the Northeast Planning Area, generally bordered by
US-23 to the north and east, the Huron
River and the U of M
Central Campus Area to the west, and Washtenaw Ave to the
south. The meeting will be held on:
- Wednesday, June 16 from
7:00 – 9:00 PM, Clague Middle School’s Media Center,
located at 2616 Nixon Road (just
north of Bluett Rd)
There will be a presentation on the
progress made to-date, a review of draft project goals and objectives developed
from public input gathered in March and May, and an interactive review of the
proposed improvements for the Northeast Area.
This is the third in a series of public input meetings, and
the second area-specific meeting that will be held for this project.
Other meetings will be held for other parts of the city over the next few
months. Call Jeff
Kahan at the City Planning Department for more information at 994-2800 or
