Public Workshop to be held for the City of Ann Arbor’s Comprehensive Non-motorized
Transportation Plan, focusing on the South Planning Area
The City of Ann Arbor Planning
and Public Services Departments will host a public workshop for the City of Ann Arbor’s
Comprehensive Non-motorized Transportation Plan. This meeting will focus
on non-motorized issues in the South Planning Area, generally bordered by Scio
Church Rd, Stadium Blvd and Washtenaw Ave to the north; US-23 to the east; and
I-94 to the south and west. The meeting will be held on:
Wednesday, July 14 from 7:00 –
9:00 PM, Tappan Middle
Center, located at 2251 E. Stadium Blvd
(just west of Washtenaw Ave).
There will be a presentation on the
progress made to-date, a review of draft project goals and objectives developed
from public input gathered in March, May and June as well as a review of the
proposed improvements for the South Area.
This is the fourth in a series of public input meetings, and
the third of four area-specific meeting that will be held for this
project. The last area specific meeting will be for the Central Area on
