EDITORIAL: Time to stop fouling a Chicago waterway

The federal Environmental Protection Agency has ordered a cleanup that will 
make the Chicago River safe even for swimming. If the state refuses, the EPA

DNR to hold meetings on Phragmites spraying along shores of Lake Michigan

The DNR will begin spraying 3,600 acres along 118 miles of shoreline 
properties in Brown, Door, Manitowoc, Marinette, Oconto and Sheboygan 
counties in August but needs permission from property owners no later than

Bruce Power has withdrawn its application to the United States Department of 
Transportation for approval to ship 16 radioactive steam generators through

Waukesha's filtered deep well pumps not in service

Waukesha is seeking approval from Wisconsin and the other seven Great Lakes 
states to switch to a Lake Michigan water source. The city would abandon all
