Hundreds of bird deaths sound alarm on problems in the Great Lakes

Renewable energy prop could divide communities targeted for wind farms

To achieve the Proposal 3 goal of 5,000 MW of renewable electricity generation mainly with wind energy would  require installing between 2,000 and 3,100 wind turbines, according to supporters of Proposal 3 and industry officials--some communities are not thrilled with this prospect.
