EM:/ Michigan Supreme Court denies Dow dioxin class action

The supreme court did not rule out the Dow class action.  They want circuit court Judge Borrello to clarify his reason on 2 of the 5 criteria plaintiff's need to meet class action certification.  In other words, Judge Borrello needs to re-grant class certification at the circuit court level, which will trigger the appeals process all over again.

  I hate to ask, and maybe this displays my ignorance (and my laziness - I don't want to read a 70-page ruling!) but I'd be grateful if someone could more clearly explain what this ruling means, even if it's brief. I'm lost!
