The Navigant Consortium[1] <#_ftn1> invites you to a */U.S. Offshore
Wind Market and Supply Chain Workshop/* on Monday, March 5, 2012, at the
Fairmont Chicago, Millennium Park Hotel in Chicago, Illinois.

This workshop is a key element of Navigant Consulting's DOE-funded
project to examine the existing U.S. offshore wind supply chain,
identify current and anticipated gaps, consider the barriers to filling
these gaps, and recommend strategies for developing a robust supply
chain with a focus on identifying market-entry pathways for new
manufacturers.

Wind industry stakeholders from around the U.S. have provided input to a
survey designed by the Navigant Consortium to develop the first
comprehensive analysis of the U.S. offshore wind supply chain and to
recommend needed policy changes. The workshop will provide an
opportunity for Great Lakes region stakeholders to review the survey's
supply chain findings and provide additional input to confirm and
supplement survey results.

Registration and a draft agenda for the workshop are available at
https://www.glc.org/energy/wind/register.php. *The deadline for early
bird registration is Friday, February 29*.

The workshop will be immediately followed by the AWEA Regional Wind
Energy Summit -- Midwest 2012
(http://www.awea.org/events/AWEA-Midwest-Wind-Energy-Markets-Seminar-2012.cfm),
which is scheduled for March 6-7 at the same location.

_*Accommodations and Travel Information*_

Accommodations are available at the Fairmont Chicago, Millennium Park
Hotel for a discounted rate of $149 (single and double occupancy), plus
applicable taxes. *The discounted rate will be available while group
rooms remain until **February 13, 2012*. Once the discounted rooms are
sold out or after February 13 (whichever comes first), the hotel may
continue to accept reservations at the discounted rate on a
space-available basis; however, they could be at a higher prevailing
room rate. For further details on making accommodation arrangements and
travel information (modes of transportation, directions, etc.), visit
http://www.awea.org/events/AWEA-Midwest-Wind-Energy-Markets-Seminar-2012.cfm#fragment-4.

We hope you can join us.
