Today on The Environment Report...  

There's a big pile of government money 
being spent on roads, bridges, and buildings.  
Some are wondering whether the spending will 
help inner cities or encourage more sprawling 
development.  Rebecca Williams weighs in on 
the subject of stimulus and sprawl.  

And... some people are planting urban gardens 
in empty lots as a way to spruce up their 
surroundings and bring fresh produce downtown.  
But those lots don't stay empty forever, so 
finding a permanent home for urban gardens 
can be a tricky business.  Shawn Allee brings 
us the story of one gardener who works with 
the changing landscape by making his gardens 
mobile.
