- Read Peter Marcy's Posts -

"After nearly and hour and a half of swimming I reached the finish
line...It is that moment after the finish that I remind myself of to
help me
continue to do the hard work of maintaining my weight loss. It is
something that I owe to Lake Michigan that I hope to always carry with

me."

Weekly Editorial

In this week's editorial, There is No Hierarchy of Pollution . . . or
Watersheds, or Economies, Jessica Belle Smith discusses a relationship
between the Mississippi River and the Great Lakes.

- Respond to Jessica's Editorial -

"I believe that there is no hierarchy of pollution, no watershed more
precious than another.	What we do in the Great Lakes - Protect our
water from export outside the Basin, for example, or penalize
polluters - should be done with the consideration of all watersheds
and communities."

 April's Monthly Feature: New Poll!

Each month we premier one of three added features of the Great Lakes
Town Hall. These three consist of Opinion Polls, 5 Questions and the
Great Lakes Spotlight.

This month, the Great Lakes Town Hall poses a new question for the
readers:

Do you favor sharing Great Lakes water on a short-term basis to save
human lives during emergencies in water impoverished areas?

-Absolutely yes.

-Yes, if...

-Maybe, depending on...

-No, except for...

-Absolutely not.
