The Port of Milwaukee's general stevedore, Federal Marine Terminals (FMT), a division of Fednav shipline, has released its Environmental Policy.  FMT loads and unloads most of the foreign vessels that arrive here. The Port is very supportive of FMT's aggressive role in improving our marine environment. This policy shows FMT's commitment to conducting business in the most ethical and sustainable manner, while reducing its footprint at its terminals.  The policy addresses air emissions, water and land pollution, the handling of hazardous materials and conflicts of use with neighboring communities.
 
We are proud to have FMT as our tenant and appreciate your consideration to post this announcement.
