<https://www.glc.org/greatlakesday/register.html> Register now for the 2010
Semiannual Meeting of the Great Lakes Commission and "Great Lakes Days in
Washington," Feb. 22-24. These events provide a great opportunity for the
region's policymakers and opinion leaders, as well as members of Congress
and staff, to share priorities for the region. Promoting our Great Lakes
federal policy agenda is more important than ever this year following the
approval of the new Great Lakes Restoration Initiative. It is important that
we take this time to thank Congress and the Administration and make sure
they recognize that continued investment in the Great Lakes will yield
significant environmental and economic benefits.

The Great Lakes Commission Semiannual Meeting will start at 1 p.m. on Feb.
22 and conclude at noon on Feb. 23. Meeting events will be held at the

on Feb. 22 will be held at the hotel.

offices throughout the week. A joint briefing session and other preparatory

sponsored by the Healing Our WatersR - Great Lakes Coalition and the
Government of Canada will be held at the Canadian Embassy on the evening of
