Hi Folks! Do you have expertise in areas such as geodesy, navigation, tides, piloting vessels, or coastal management? If so, consider submitting an application to serve on NOAA’s Hydrographic Services Review Panel. The due date for submissions is July 24, 2009. NOAA is seeking applications for members to serve on the Hydrographic Services Review Panel, a Federal advisory committee which provides advice to NOAA on topics including hydrographic surveying, nautical charting, water level and current measurements, and geodetic and geospatial measurements. Consider submitting an application if you have expertise in areas such as geodetic, geospatial, tides, or current measurements; hydrographic surveying; vessel pilotage; port administration; marine transportation; or coastal and fishery management. Please note that 1) officers or employees of the United States are not eligible to apply for membership, and 2) part of the appointment process includes completing a financial disclosure form. For more information, please refer to the Hydrographic Services Review Panel webpage: http://www.nauticalcharts.noaa.gov/ocs/hsrp/hsrp.htm You can also read the attached Federal Register notice for more information.
