Today on The Environment Report...  

More Americans think economic growth 
should been given priority over 
environmental protection, according 
to a new Gallup poll.  It's the first 
time the economy has trumped the 
environment in 25 years of polling 
on the subject.  Lester talks with 
Gallup poll editor Frank Newport 
about their findings.  

And... there's a chemical hanging 
around in canned goods that researchers 
have linked to serious health problems 
like cancer and diabetes.  Reporter 
Rebecca Williams visits Eden Foods.  
The company has taken the unusual step 
to get the chemical out of its cans.
