Day 1 Virtual Field Trip - Don't Miss Out!
Although Wisconsin's Forward Wind farm is too far to visit, the Annual
Meeting will bring this wind farm to you! This "virtual field trip" will
show you how large-scale development of land-based wind turbines has
progressed near Horicon Marsh, home to diverse wildlife such as Canada
geese, ducks, heron, water birds and other species. Participants will hear
preliminary results of wildlife interaction monitoring at the wind farm and
how wildlife studies are carried out in the field. This should be an
exciting and educational experience so be sure to sign up!
