GLIN's October Site of the Month is the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's Coastal and Waterfront Smart Growth. The Smart Growth website offers tools, resources, case studies and guidelines for "smart growth" in coastal areas. The website provides guidance on ways for coastal areas to grow while boosting the economy, protecting the environment and enhancing community vitality at the same time.
