The ASC administers the UW Sea Grant Institute and UW Water Resources Institute, which support multidisciplinary research, education and outreach for the protection and sustainable use of Wisconsin's water resources. Required degree and experience: Bachelor's degree plus at least 5 years experience managing a communications or media relations team conveying scientific or technical subjects to wide audiences. Preferred background: Master's degree in a scientific field or in journalism, public relations, or related field plus at least 5 years experience communicating biological, aquatic or environmental science and research in higher education institutions.
