THE CLINTON RIVER WATERSHED COUNCIL IS LOOKING FOR CITIZENS, CIVIC GROUPS
AND COMMUNITIES TO JOIN HANDS TO HELP CLEAN UP AREAS ALONG THE CLINTON RIVER

The Clinton Clean-Up is an annual one-day campaign to remove all man made
garbage and debris from the streambed, banks and adjacent areas along
various sections of the Clinton River and its tributaries. This volunteer
project is led by the Clinton River Watershed Council (CRWC) and stewards of
the river. It is made possible through the combined effort of hundreds of
individuals, businesses, local governments, and community organizations to
clean up our water resources and demonstrate stewardship.

This years Clean Up is September 26, 2009.

Events include invasive species removal at the Drayton Plains Nature Center
in Waterford Township, collect trash and debris along riverbanks in Auburn
Hills, Pontiac Rochester Hills, and, Waterford and pull weeds and remove
trash along the Clinton River spillway in Clinton Township.
