from today, on October 1.

Also, full proposals for the Community Grants Program are due in three
weeks, on October 15.

The Sustain Our Great Lakes program is a unique bi-national, public–private
partnership that works to restore, protect and preserve the fragile habitats
and ecosystems that form the world’s largest freshwater system.

Sustain Our Great Lakes provides grants to non-profit organizations, state
and  local governments, tribes and educational institutions working to
improve the health of the Great Lakes basin. The program supports habitat
restoration  and protection,  invasive  species control, water quality
improvements, and watershed planning and management.
