Get ready for the fall launch of the newest resource for the Great Lakes
Restoration Initiative (GLRI). Congress specifically required EPA to
develop an accountability system to track this unprecedented level of
funding. The Great Lakes Restoration Initiative Accountability system
(GLAS) is the primary mechanism for collecting information to monitor
and report on Great Lakes Restoration Initiative (GLRI) progress. GLAS
is a Web-based project tracking system that will be available to the
public to provide transparency and accountability for how GLRI funds are
being used. / http://greatlakesrestoration.us/?p=1028 /

Building transparency and accountability
GLAS will allow you to see
   Who received GLRI funds
How the funds are being spent
Where the funds are being spent
What progress is being made in restoring the Great Lakes
