A primary goal of the GLRI Quality Technical Conference is to bring
together the GLRI Collaborators to facilitate implementation of quality
practices for GLRI projects. We will begin Tuesday, December 7 with
three training sessions: 1) data verification, validation, and
usability; 2) quality program tracking, inventory, and reporting; and 3)
field and laboratory auditing. Wednesday, December 8 will consist of
technical sessions addressing specific quality issues associated with
GLRI focus areas, such as sediment assessment and remediation, and
habitat restoration.

The conference employs green initiatives and environmental awareness
with all seven sessions being held on Dec 7 and 8 are being made
available remotely via Webinar. The final morning (Thursday, December 9)
will provide an opportunity to share the quality-related experiences of
our organizations and report on the status of quality documentation for
projects funded by GLRI in FY 2010.
