Attention Educators!

The Muskegon River Watershed Assembly (MRWA) is announcing their 2010
Aquatic Academy for Teachers "Get Wet & Wild" that will be held on Tuesday,
May 4, at Camp Newaygo (Newaygo County). The workshop has many sessions
including:
      Project WILD
      Project FLOW
      MEECS Water Quality
      Water Monitoring - Stream and Lake
      Effects of Dams on the Muskegon River Watershed
      Jr. Citizen Planner
      DNRE programs for Michigan Educators
      Streambank Restoration
      Translating Wetland Field Experiences into Classrooms
      Storm Water Model - how rain and weather affect watersheds
      Education resources via the internet
      WMEAC programs
      Plus MORE!

The MRWA will pay the conference costs, lunch and continental breakfast for
all participants. Educators within the Muskegon River Watershed will be
provided a mileage reimbursement and their schools will receive up to $70
per teacher for substitute teacher reimbursement.

A $25 registration fee is required when registering but this fee will be
returned to all educators who actually participate.
