I'm excited to announce that we've finalized a contribution agreement between Oregon Tilth and the USDA Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS) National office in support of creating a shared position. A position announcement and job description has been posted in the job openings section of the Oregon Tilth website.
The key to success for this position is finding a strong candidate - which requires a unique set of skills.
Please help spread the word through your email networks, newsletters and listserves to assist in us in acquiring a strong pool of candidates.

In partnership with the USDA Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS), Oregon Tilth is hiring a shared national position to develop new technical information and deliver training that will allow NRCS conservation planners to assist owners and managers of private working lands to make management decisions to enhance resource conservation on organic agricultural production systems. The position will be an Oregon Tilth employee and based at the NRCS West National Technology Support Center (NTSC) in Portland, OR for a two-year term. The scope of this position is national and will require frequent long-distance travel.
