You are invited to hear Gerald Smith discuss the future of Great Lakes fishes and the story behind his recently released book The Guide to Great Lakes Fishes. The event is scheduled for 4-6 p.m. today.

Sneak preview: "I think the large, writhing groups of spawning Burbot provided the biggest surprise in the project... and I realized that there is enough new to be learned about Great Lakes fishes to take several lifetimes..."
