Statement of Andy Buchsbaum, Regional Executive Director, National Wildlife Federation's Great Lakes Regional Center:



"National Wildlife Federation (NWF) welcomes Keith Creagh, Dan Wyant, and Rodney Stokes as the newly appointed leaders of Michigan's Departments of Agriculture, Environmental Quality, and Natural Resources.



"This new team brings a wealth of institutional knowledge and experience to the new administration.  They have already shown themselves to be dynamic leaders for their respective agencies in past and current positions.



"The National Wildlife Federation (NWF) looks forward to working with these new leaders and the rest of Governor Snyder's administration to help protect and restore our Great Lakes for the people and wildlife that depend upon them.



"We are encouraged and have optimism that we can help them shape the development of innovative natural resource goals and objectives to protect our Great Lakes, enhance fish and wildlife habitat, and promote clean energy that transforms Michigan's economy and provides jobs."
