"Renewable Energy, Drugs and More in Our Waters" is the
theme of the Tenth Annual Great Lakes Water Conference on Friday,
November 5, 2010 at the University of Toledo College of Law.
Three panels of experts will address issues critical to the
Great Lakes and our water resources, including the siting of wind
turbines and solar energy facilities, pharmaceuticals which are flushed
down our drains, the new Great Lakes interstate compact, the invasive
Asian carp, key cases affecting our shores, and recent oil spills. Tim
Eder, executive director of the Great Lakes Commission, will be the
keynote speaker.
The conference is free to the public, and attorneys can earn
4.5 hours of CLE for $60. The one-day conference is sponsored by the
University of Toledo College of Law and its affiliated Legal Institute
