U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Announces Call for Project Proposals for
Great Lakes Basin Fish Habitat Projects
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service) announced it is accepting 2011
project proposals to protect, restore and enhance Great Lakes fish habitat
under the Great Lakes Basin Fish Habitat Partnership (Partnership).
Project funding has been made available to support on-the –ground fish
habitat work. Local watershed associations, municipalities, tribes, states
and non-governmental organizations are encouraged to apply. Deadline for
proposal submission is October 15, 2010.
Project proposals will be compiled, ranked and reviewed by the Partnership,
and final funding decisions will be made by the Service in late spring or
early summer 2011.

The Great Lakes Fish Habitat Partnership (
