The Compact is law and many states, including Michigan, have enacted legislation and rules to implement it. Join some of the major architects and critics of the Compact in a panel discussion on how it's working and what needs to be improved: Jim Olson, Senior Principal Attorney, Olson, Bzdock and Howard, PC, and recently honored by the Michigan Bar Association as a "Champion of Justice" for his work on environmental protection and water law. Noah Hall, professor at Wayne State Law School, founder of the Great Lakes Environmental Law Center and one of the architects of the Great Lakes Water Resources Compact. Sara Gosman, adjunct professor at the University of Michigan Law School, NWF attorney, former assistant attorney general, and expert on Compact implementation.
