A Call for Ideas – Research Topics

Michigan Sea Grant is gathering suggestions for current issues that could be the focus of new research grants. Feedback from a range of professionals, government officials, researchers and citizens is crucial to this process.

>From your perspective, what are the most pressing coastal or Great Lakes problems? Please submit your ideas by October 25 to lvaccaro at umich.edu.

Michigan Sea Grant supports research projects that address current problems facing the Great Lakes and coastal areas in Michigan. Past projects focused on Detroit River fish consumption advisories, coastal wind energy development, stormwater run-off, river restoration and coastal brownfield redevelopment
