LAKE ERIE WATERKEEPER CONFERNCE APRIL 8

If you would like to learn something about what is happening in these warm, shallow, fishy waters, attend the Lake Erie Conference on Friday, April 8 at North Cape Yacht Club just over the Michigan line.

Speakers include Dave Baker from Heidelberg, the region's water quality czar, award winning Lynn Henning, national algae expert Ken Hednell, fish experts Dr. Christine Mayer University of Toledo, Dr. Jeff Ram(Wayne State), Grand Lake St. Marys Improvement Corporation President Tim Lovett, and Erie Marsh improvements, Chris May, Natures Conservancy. Additional topics include phosphorous in lawn fertilizers, open lake dumping and more.

The keynote speaker is Ohio State Representative Mathew Szollosi.

The conference is open to the public.
